Pointe-Claire is a city in the Greater Montreal area of Quebec, Canada, bordering Lake Saint-Louis. As of 2020, the city had a population of 33,698. Its symbol is the windmill located near Saint-Joachim Church in Pointe-Claire. The city has two municipal libraries, an aquatic centre, an arena, a nature park, and its own water filtration system.
The city is located in the Montreal administrative region. It is bordered to the east by Dorval, to the west by the cities of Kirkland and Beaconsfield, and to the north by Dollard-Des Ormeaux. To the south, Pointe-Claire is bordered by Lake Saint-Louis. Pointe-Claire is part of the provincial riding of Jacques-Cartier and the federal riding of Lac-Saint-Louis.
